“Big Bird”
Big and beautiful with green Celtic knots showing off this flag shaped vision. She is showing off her tail feathers in green and gold and her under feathers are shades of purple and gold. Her body is made up of lovely pink and purple and gold and orange adorn the neck. Gold locks in this image with four blocks and copper them and the extraordinary knotwork at the bottom of this piece.

I had just finished reading one of those great books about Henry VIII England so I was really in the mood for knots and crowns.
These lovely peacocks are so crazy about each other that they interlocked necks and just won’t let go!
The inspiration for this piece came from the carpet pages from the “Book of Kells”.
I just love hearts and all shapes really including the beautiful gold diamond in the middle!
Focus your eyes on the center of this painting and you’ll see the “Irish Butterfly”.
Look closely and you will see the celtic sea turtles pointing to the four corners of the earth.
Wow, it got caught out in the rain and still it appears lovely with the beautiful shades of purple sprouting out and adoring the sky.
