His wreath you may have noticed resembles larva. Perhaps that’s because there is a butterfly in the middle of it.
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts and I am helped.” Psalm 28:7
The halo is beautiful with shades of a light burnt orange tones with 23kt gold that line spins within it and makes arch shapes.
I had just finished reading one of those great books about Henry VIII England so I was really in the mood for knots and crowns.
The inspiration for this piece came from the carpet pages from the “Book of Kells”.
