“Trust”
This piece was painted in a deep Irish green. The large knotwork cross in the middle was done with a very bold gold leaf. The background directly behind the cross was painted with a striking lighter green to make the image of the cross “pop”. One of my favorite Bible verses is illuminated in gold around the cross in a circle. It says…
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your on understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
