“Thistle”
Wow, it got caught out in the rain and still it appears lovely with the beautiful shades of purple sprouting out and adoring the sky. The sky just burst open and the rain came pouring down from the heavens to nourish this sweet little baby. The Celtic knots at the bottom are done in earth tones to remind us of the nourishment that comes from the earth to make it live also.

The inspiration for this piece came from the carpet pages from the “Book of Kells”.
I love this verse Joshua 24:15. The gold anchors it with lovely flower in pink and varying shades of purple.
“Trust” This piece was painted in a deep Irish green. The large knotwork cross in the middle was done with a very bold gold leaf. The halo is beautiful with shades of a light burnt orange tones with 23kt gold that line spins within it and makes arch shapes.
I just love hearts and all shapes really including the beautiful gold diamond in the middle!
