“Love Birds”
These two colorful “Love Birds” are sharing a piece of fruit together. With intertwined necks and looking into each others eyes as if they are in love they are sharing a stolen moment in time. The center piece has the feel of a stained glass window or a flower in the garden, and also displays some characteristics of a window that one might find in a church.
This piece displays greens and purples and blues and yellows against the rich Walnut ink background. The feathers are swung above the birds and around the rounded glass window almost to give the impression of gentle embrace. The colors are rich and vibrant and make me feel like spring is just around the corner!
