The inspiration for this piece came from the carpet pages from the “Book of Kells”.
“Trust” This piece was painted in a deep Irish green. The large knotwork cross in the middle was done with a very bold gold leaf. I love this verse Joshua 24:15. The gold anchors it with lovely flower in pink and varying shades of purple.
Wow, it got caught out in the rain and still it appears lovely with the beautiful shades of purple sprouting out and adoring the sky.
Look closely and you will see the celtic sea turtles pointing to the four corners of the earth.
I just love hearts and all shapes really including the beautiful gold diamond in the middle!
