“Celtic Cross”
This was inspired from looking over photos of the historical crosses in Ireland. So here I go again! This is a bold thickly layered gold cross on a black background that totally makes it “pop out” at you. The four spaces on the sides are complex knots that are paint with reddish orange colors. You are also reminded of the same colors of knots in the center and each of the four parts of the cross. This cross has a sort oriental feel to it.

I just love hearts and all shapes really including the beautiful gold diamond in the middle!
Focus your eyes on the center of this painting and you’ll see the “Irish Butterfly”.
The inspiration for this piece came from the carpet pages from the “Book of Kells”.
“Trust” This piece was painted in a deep Irish green. The large knotwork cross in the middle was done with a very bold gold leaf. Wow, it got caught out in the rain and still it appears lovely with the beautiful shades of purple sprouting out and adoring the sky.
